On November 16-17, 2018, the VIII International Festival of Architecture and Design and Design Schools of Eurasia was held in Chisinau (Moldova), organized by KazGASA (Almaty, Kazakhstan), Turksoy (Ankara, Turkey), the Union of Architects of the Turkic world (Ankara, Turkey ) and the Moldavian Technical University (Istanbul, Turkey).

On November 16-17, 2018, the VIII International Festival of Architecture and Design and Design Schools of Eurasia was held in Chisinau (Moldova), organized by KazGASA (Almaty, Kazakhstan), Turksoy (Ankara, Turkey), the Union of Architects of the Turkic world (Ankara, Turkey ) and the Moldavian Technical University (Istanbul, Turkey).

The festival was held in the main building of the Moldavian Technical University. The opening of such a grand event took place in a large conference hall, equipped with everything necessary for the convenience of holding presentations of various universities and presentations of speakers in various languages.

More than 130 representatives of 84 higher education institutions from Kazakhstan, Georgia, Turkey, China, Hungary, Moldova, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Estonia, Russia, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, the Republic of Tatarstan, Uzbekistan and others took part in the Festival. The court of international jury over 450 graduation projects.

The international review competition of graduation projects was held in the following nominations: architecture, design, construction, production of building materials, products and structures. As a result of the careful work of the international jury, which included representatives from all countries participating in the festival, the winners were determined.

The presented diploma projects by the departments of "Industrial, civil and road construction" and "Architecture" of the South Kazakhstan State University. M. Auezov won prizes.

In the “Construction” direction, two graduation projects took І and ІІІ places respectively, and in the “Architecture” direction one master project took the ІІІ place. All these best works received international diplomas of the 1st and 3rd degrees, and project managers (Usenkulov Zh.A., Erimbetov B.T., Yusupov AN, Imanaliev KE, Dosaliev KS) were issued certificates.

The organizers and members of the jury of the international festival noted the high level of performance and relevance of graduation projects submitted by the University of SKSU. M. Auezov and awarded certificates of appreciation to the rector of the University Kozhamzharova D. P. and Vice-Rector Baibolov K.S.
